Modus Operandi Cellars
Jason Moore is the winemaker and founding partner of Modus Operandi Cellars in the Napa Valley.
Wine is one of those things that to many people, can incite a tremendous amount of feelings and emotions. Wine is enchanting and mysterious, gives joy, confuses, and inspires. In many cases, these complexities lead to a love which leads to a strong passion for wine. For Jason Moore, this led to Modus Operandi Cellars.
Jason Moore, the company’s founder and Winemaker has the following to say about his winemaking process: “The small size of my production coupled with the enormous size of my passion allows me the pleasure of giving my wines the most intimate care possible.”
Thanks to that philosophy and passion, Modus Operandi wines have recently received high praises from Wine Enthusiast, and similar wine review entities. All wines reviewed scored tightly together with two ranking at 93 points and one at 92.
Modus Operandi, a California wine producer was founded with our first vintage in 2004 by winemaker/partner Jason Moore, and business partners, Robert Rogel, Steve Vargas, Dr. Myun Han, and Akira Higa all of whom invested in the vision and passion of a Dallas waiter turned Napa Valley winemaker. The name, Modus Operandi is a Latin phrase meaning “method of operation” or the way in which one does something. Learn more at ModusWines.com.
