We hope you have your passport ready because we are taking off this summer! We will now be offering a new wine flight every month at Midtown Grille. To kick things off, starting July 1, 2019, we will be offering a rosé flight for $18. July’s flight will include three, four-ounce pours of the following rosé wines:
Mittlebach “T” Rose, Kremstal, Austria, 2018
Mouton Noir “Love Drunk” Rose, Oregon, 2017
Chataue de Manissy, Tavel Cuvee Des Lys Rose
It’s time to rosé all day! This flight will be available seven days a week during lunch, dinner, late night, and Sunday brunch.
What is Rosé?
New to this delicious pink drink? It is perfect for warm months on the patio! Rosé has exploded on the US market over the past few years and according to VinePair, it now eclipses the sale of white wine in France. Unlike white grapes that become white wine, and red grapes that become red wine, pink grapes don’t exist in nature. Winemakers create rosé wines by juicing red grapes then allowing the juice to soak with the skins for a very short period of time, usually only two to three days. As soon as the juice begins to take on the pink color the winemaker desires, the skins are removed and the juice is allowed to ferment, creating delicious rosé.
