Is it just us, or is it getting hot in here? Chef Marshall Smith is cooking up something fun for the 11th Annual Amazing Pepper Festival and we are excited to be a part of it.
The 11th Annual Pepper Festival takes place on September 23, 2018, from 3 until 6 p.m. at Briar Chapel’s Great Meadow Park. The Amazing Pepper Festival is North Carolina’s largest local food festival with over 50 chefs, distillers, brewers, and culinary artisans. That’s not all – there are two live bands, 1,400+ attendees and 800 POUNDS of local, organic peppers!
What to Expect
Festival-goers get the opportunity to sample different dishes, drinks, and other creations – all of which feature local peppers. Some are hot and some are not as this festival is about flavor over heat. This festival is for people of all ages. Kids will enjoy the festivals Kid’s Pepperalooza, a pavilion with all day arts n’ crafts, giant bubbles, kid’s sustainability workshops, an aerial silks demo, a science show, and more!
Tickets range from $5 to $25 and are on sale now at Eventbrite.com. Children six and under get in free.
